OverviewThe new Russian animated series turns friendship into a daily service: Gena and Cheburashka open a Bureau of Good Deeds, while Shapoklyak counters with bad deeds. The familiar town acquires new neighbours and small problems to solve. This CGI continuity is distinct from both the four Soviet puppet films and the human Gena’s live-action world.
Story & key events
Her hat supplies her name: a chapeau claque is a collapsible top hat. Later books can make her a bureaucratic or business antagonist; Japan gives her an advice bureau, and the new Russian series a Bureau of Bad Deeds. The human confectionery owner Rimma is a live-action echo, not literally this old lady.
Place in the world
Keep five shelves separate: the books, Soviet puppet films, Japanese adaptations, new Russian animation and live action. Names and images travel between them, but events do not automatically transfer. A crocodile employee, a human grandfather and a bureau founder can be related interpretations without sharing a single life.
